Robotic Lab at UWE and the MOD
With thanks to the Lightyear Foundation, Robin and Swallow classes had the opportunity to visit the Robotics Lab at UWE and the MOD. We had the amazing opportunity to programme and operate some of the robots. We were also excited to see some of the social robots which are designed to help disabled people. The MOD did some great presentations about how they keep us safe and it was very insightful to hear from Blaise, a member of the staff team who has autism, and how the MOD have supported and made adjustments to help her thrive in work!
