  • Family Halloween Disco

    Our learners who are completing their ASDAN qualification did a fantastic job in preparing for our family Halloween disco as part of their mini-enterprise project. They designed and made some spooktacular decorations and treats as well as organised a fab raffle!  Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the disco.

  • Rock Steady Music School

    We had a great day rocking out with Rock Steady Music School!  Pupils across the school enjoyed forming their very own bands using instruments such as guitars, keyboards and drums.  After being introduced to the musical instruments the groups were supported to perform their own version of 'We Will Rock You' by Queen!

  • New Fosseway Class of 2022

    We would like to say good luck to our school leavers who are moving on from New Fosseway this year.  We will miss you all and know you will do so well as you continue your journey into adulthood.  We’ve had a wonderful end of term celebrating with you at our Leavers Prom, meal and assembly!

  • PE in the Local Community

    We love PE here at New Fosseway; it's a great way to socialise, try new things and to stay fit and healthy!  This term we have been enjoying PE in environments outside of school but within our local community at the Bristol Gymnastics Centre and Bristol Family Cycling Centre.  It has also been a great way for our learners to recognise other peoples job roles, encounter workplaces and to meet and talk to staff.

  • SS Great Britain

    Flamingo class had a fab day exploring the SS Great Britain and took part in Victorian themed workshops which involved dressing up to get into character.  It was also a fantastic opportunity to meet members of staff to see what their job's involved in the running of the tourist attraction.

  • Multi-sports Festival

    Learners had a fantastic time in the local community at Ashton Gate Stadium where they took part in a sports festival with other local schools.  These events always run with such success due to the ongoing partnership work within our local community.  A huge thanks to Bristol Bears Community Foundation, Irwin Mitchell, Bristol Boccia and everyone involved who made it such a wonderful experience.

  • World Book Day

    On Thursday 3rd March 2022 it is World Book Day.  As a school we will be taking part in many fun activities supporting children and young people in a love of books and reading. Your child is welcome to come dressed as their favourite book character. 

     

    World Book Day vouchers will be given out on the day which your child will take home so to be exchanged in book shops.
