The law

Current legislation says that all schools have a legal duty to:

• prohibit the promotion of partisan (one-sided) political views
• take steps to ensure the balanced presentation of opposing views on political issues when they are brought to the attention of pupils

As such, New Fosseway will ensure that pupils are taught about a diverse range of views and ideas.
